3/13: detail, detail, detail

We walked around Sioux City this afternoon taking photographs of architectural details, which is one of our favorite things to do. Sioux City is an amazing place for this particular pastime because the city has a history of very elaborate terra-cotta ornamentation on its buildings downtown. Wonderful intricacies in an orderly explosion of adornment.

I have had an abundance of good things today. First, as I was about to leave for work, there was a big full moon in the blue sky, so I took a photo. Then at lunchtime I received your postcard of the moon in the blue sky! I love our coincidences!!!

I also popped a notecard in the mail to you this morning, which I had written last night! :-)
