3/22: norse myth

Since we read the d'Aulaires' Book of Greek Myths in my course this semester, I was curious to take a look at their Book of Norse Myths. I've read it over the past two days, and it's been fun and weird and wild to spend time with such a different set of stories, ideas, characters.

Wonderful sunny day, and accomplished lots in moving 30 odd ton of hay out to the road edge for a truck to pick up in the morning. Hay sales are always good but this sale at a good price when many in this area are caught holding their stock this year is especially grand. Even the downside to the day, a flat tire in the middle of the work was an easy easy fix that also gave us a break in the work to have a relaxing coffee while it was repaired.

Glad you liked your postcard!

Congratulations on a successful hay sale, April! (The idea of 30 tons is boggling.....) And how nice that even the flat tire had a silver lining of sorts.
