Life in late capitalism can be vexing, alienating, fragmenting, and otherwise frustrating. There are many wonderful things in my life, but I'm more likely to talk about what's bad rather than what's good. My good thing: We went to the movies! Saw Jane Eyre. Now I'm rereading it.
The arrival of butterflies! And the first time of spring I saddled up and took a horse out for a ride. Still some shady spots that are too icy or covered in snow, but most of the trail was great.

I love the novel Jane Eyre, so I hope you enjoy re-reading it! I was disappointed that our movie theatre in town isn't going to show the movie--I'm going to have to wait until it's released on video.
I've been enjoying the return of butterflies this spring myself, April. And your trail ride sounds wonderful....
