Life in late capitalism can be vexing, alienating, fragmenting, and otherwise frustrating. There are many wonderful things in my life, but I'm more likely to talk about what's bad rather than what's good. I'm going to try to post one good thing here each day, and if you would join in by adding a good thing from your day in the comments, I'd love it--I'd absolutely love it. --RR

Finding your blog from Daisy Yellow's ICAD which I just found yesterday...to make a long story short, I really like your focus, especially since I am too, remiss in being appreciative of all the little things that make up my life and all its facets. Thanks for the inspiration. I shall return and also reward myself with my own daily one good thing.

Thanks, Honoré. The blog has helped me develop a better habit of noticing good things, and its being a blog (rather than a journal I keep on my own) somehow helps to keep me on track.
Today we got some needed sunshine! We have had all the rain we need and much more so far this season, my plants are looking sad for that. I'm hoping summer is really starting now.
