Shortly after the puppy experience, I took our dog to get spayed. It makes me laugh just to think about that. It's a good day.

Note to person who runs this blog. It's a Sunday today. Everyone is still asleep. It occurs to me that some stranger just showing up on your blog and starts leaving random comments...could be..well disturbing. Please know that is not my intent.
Recently, it just seems that I had a string of just bad days in a row ...maybe more than just days, anyway, I googled "Just One Good thing everyday" Thinking I'd find a joke site or something...but I found your site instead. I trhought you had a good idea. And I like the fact that it's anonymous. Nobody in my family knows that I am leaving these little tidbits..not my kids...not my wife. It's a bonus to me that my little musings are really "comments" behind your front page comments...even better! So, I plan to frequently leave a comment behind your comment...UNLESS this seems to weird you out. Which I can easily understand. IF SO, just leave a return comment about your concern or discomfort...and that will end it. Else, I am going to try and hide a good thought in the back of you blog as frequently as I can. You can ignore them or make return comments as you wish...IT IS your blog and I'm just being a free loader...but its kinda self therapy for me...and I thodught I'd give it a shot. Please express any concerns. Best regards to you.

Feel free to post absolutely anytime! This blog is a way I keep myself accountable for taking time each day to think of something good, and I'm SO happy for it to be a place where other people know that they can come and post whenever they want to. I don't know if I would have been as faithful with this project if I had kept it as a private journal. There's something psychologically useful about the "public" blog format, even (especially?) when it's combined with anonymity. (Some people who visit and post here know who I am "in real life," but some don't.) In sum: you have my green light and good wishes!
