6/21: moveable holiday

One day each June we make a "Moon and June" cake, inspired by a poem by Christina Rossetti.  Today was this year's day.  It's been 22 years since our first "Moon and June" cake, so I'm counting not only the cake but also the tenacity of our personal custom as good things!

... I checked your old posts to read the poem... and found my own comments... I should find that poem of mine also, inspired by Rossetti's poem... 22 years, great! Chocolate does make people stick together!

It seems plausible that traditions involving chocolate have more staying power than traditions without!
