4/17: three

A long, late-afternoon conversation with a former student who graduated 10 years ago and has been spending the semester here as a faculty member.

Seeing a double rainbow with her as we left the coffee shop.

And then, hours later, seeing a bat flicker by my car on my way up the hill.  It seems good to have seen a bat on National Bat Appreciation Day.

oh, that sounds so lovely. I haven't read your blog in a while, but no I found the time.
The weather here is very good, so I am driving on my bicycle a lot. I love this kind of sport and I have been driving around 100 km per day now for the past two weeks. It already got me interesting tan lines (that's what they are called in English, right?) and the weight loss is a welcomed side effect. I love the feeling of getting back in shape. Also, I've been at my favourite coffee shop everyday for the past couple of weeks. And the staff already knows my order and they are all so friendly there.
Then today, on my bike-tour, I saw two young boys building a tree house.
I've been to London for a few days which was very exciting.
And I got a new penpal in Malaysia who creates her own postcards (they are very beautiful). Oh, so many good things :) Thank you, for making me focus and appreciate those good things more.
