Oh, and a very unexpected email from someone I haven't heard from in years and years. It turns out that his cousin is going to be an advisee of mine this year at school. What a small world.
Life in late capitalism can be vexing, alienating, fragmenting, and otherwise frustrating. There are many wonderful things in my life, but I'm more likely to talk about what's bad rather than what's good.
