The
Lord of the Rings movies came out in successive Decembers, and now each December we re-watch the trilogy on DVD. It takes us several nights to watch each film since we can only fit in about 30 minutes before we need to sleep, so the whole process takes a week or two. We're near the beginning of
The Two Towers right now.

A lot of people I know have movie traditions in December. Maybe I should start one too.
