Today in my Myth class we talked about the ways in which Ovid's version of the Ceres & Proserpina story differs from the version found in the
Homeric Hymn to Demeter. At a couple of points in our discussion one of the students smiled very broadly as certain ideas dawned upon him. I was glad for that!
