Life in late capitalism can be vexing, alienating, fragmenting, and otherwise frustrating. There are many wonderful things in my life, but I'm more likely to talk about what's bad rather than what's good. I'm going to try to post one good thing here each day, and if you would join in by adding a good thing from your day in the comments, I'd love it--I'd absolutely love it. --RR
4/12: a day for pink
This morning I put on my dusty rose linen jacket. When I got to campus it seemed an especially fitting choice: the azaleas, in almost the same shade, were blooming. Two co-workers were wearing that color today, too.

Getting postcards in the mail is just great--and on days when more than one arrives, it feels like such bounty; enjoy!
ReplyDeleteI enjoy Postcrossing too. I got my daughter and grandson and a classroom at Juvenile Hall all started on it. I believe in sharing my addictions...
