Life in late capitalism can be vexing, alienating, fragmenting, and otherwise frustrating. There are many wonderful things in my life, but I'm more likely to talk about what's bad rather than what's good. I'm going to try to post one good thing here each day, and if you would join in by adding a good thing from your day in the comments, I'd love it--I'd absolutely love it. --RR
8/23: new technique
For the past few days I've been playing around with the "slow journalling" which Tammy at daisy yellow has posted about, and I really like it. It feels somewhere between journalling and doodling, and for me that's sometimes a perfect place to be.
I checked out Tammy's site. Thanks for the link, she's got some great ideas there. I'm on the lookout these days because I'm going to be teaching a beginning art journaling class for 6 weeks, beginning late September, through our local communty ed offerings.

ReplyDeleteI'm glad you looked at daisy yellow, Barbara. I like visiting it a lot. And very exciting about your art journalling class!
