Today in Gender Studies we're discussing selections from Hildegard of Bingen, Sarah Grimke, and
The Woman's Bible (a commentary by Elizabeth Cady Stanton and a Revising Committee). I don't agree with everything they write, but--wow--they faced authorities head-on and said what they had to say. Their fearlessness, intelligence, and determination: those are good things.
