Life in late capitalism can be vexing, alienating, fragmenting, and otherwise frustrating. There are many wonderful things in my life, but I'm more likely to talk about what's bad rather than what's good. 11/16: panis angelicus
In my beginning Latin class we translated Aquinas' Panis Angelicus and then listened to Sting and Pavarotti sing César Franck's musical rendition of it. I liked it a lot, and I think they did too. (You can see/hear it here.)
Got so many of our own things done instead of trying to help out with others. While I love helping the neighbors this day was just for us and our farm.
The late afternoon snowfall was very pretty and set us up for a relaxing evening by sending us in a bit early.
