Beginning a new book, mailing packages, going out to lunch on a lark, cleaning (or at least
beginning to clean) my home office, walking with the neighborhood dogs, addressing holiday cards, and working on medical etymology (which means learning some truly crazy words)--all without wearing my watch, the sign that the semester break has truly begun.
