Life in late capitalism can be vexing, alienating, fragmenting, and otherwise frustrating. There are many wonderful things in my life, but I'm more likely to talk about what's bad rather than what's good. 1/16: lots of bits
I've been clipping teeny pieces out of catalogs and magazines for the past week. This evening I put them all together:
It was my end-of-break hurrah. Tomorrow I'll put it in the mail to a friend and I'll be back in my office on campus.
Oh, thank you all for this great feedback! I make these "micro-collages" every now and then--they can't really go wrong, which makes them a perfect relaxation project. This is the first time I made one using yellows, and I'm liking how it glows.
And, yes of course, Barbara, feel free to use & adapt the technique!
