Life in late capitalism can be vexing, alienating, fragmenting, and otherwise frustrating. There are many wonderful things in my life, but I'm more likely to talk about what's bad rather than what's good. 7/24: one benefit
...of the extreme and prolonged heat this summer: people are too hot even to try to cool off in or on the lake. More space for me and the herons.
