Life in late capitalism can be vexing, alienating, fragmenting, and otherwise frustrating. There are many wonderful things in my life, but I'm more likely to talk about what's bad rather than what's good. 8/7: cameraversary (almost)
As I was kayaking this evening I realized that it's been about a year since I got my waterproof camera (which I wrote about here), and I'm still so happy I bought it. A photo from tonight's time on the lake:
