Life in late capitalism can be vexing, alienating, fragmenting, and otherwise frustrating. There are many wonderful things in my life, but I'm more likely to talk about what's bad rather than what's good. 4/25: birds in the bush
The massive forsythia bush outside my mother's kitchen window isn't blooming yet, but a flock of goldfinches spends much of every day perched in it.
