Life in late capitalism can be vexing, alienating, fragmenting, and otherwise frustrating. There are many wonderful things in my life, but I'm more likely to talk about what's bad rather than what's good. 2/4: fun with lasers
Tilde and Emma have stopped being really interested in playing with the string and ribbon toys, but over the past week they've gotten very enthusiastic about chasing the laser pointer, and it makes me happy to see them be active.
... I have recently read James Bowen's (first) book about his cat Bob... I don't think I would have got into a deep conversation about cats and see them from a different perpective if I hadn't read this, being a non-cat-owner myself... Hello to Tilde and Emma!
