Life in late capitalism can be vexing, alienating, fragmenting, and otherwise frustrating. There are many wonderful things in my life, but I'm more likely to talk about what's bad rather than what's good. I'm going to try to post one good thing here each day, and if you would join in by adding a good thing from your day in the comments, I'd love it--I'd absolutely love it. --RR
10/20: innoculation
Stopping at the pier this morning proved to be a wise decision: school wasn't particularly pleasant, but by pausing to enjoy the rising sun on the way to work I ensured having a good thing in my day.
Oh, what a lovely picture. I absolutely love your photography.
I wasn't really productive today. I didn't write at all, maybe I'm gonna write a poem later before I go to sleep. But I practised singing some old Take That songs and I got a doctor's appointment scheduled. And I learned a few new words by watching YouTube videos (goggles, thatcher, "Bob's your uncle"). So, I still feel like I accomplished something today.
Thanks, Una! And just the phrase "Bob's your uncle" is a good thing in it's own way...I should try to work it into my conversation from time to time ;)
