Life in late capitalism can be vexing, alienating, fragmenting, and otherwise frustrating. There are many wonderful things in my life, but I'm more likely to talk about what's bad rather than what's good. I'm going to try to post one good thing here each day, and if you would join in by adding a good thing from your day in the comments, I'd love it--I'd absolutely love it. --RR
8/25: back to quiet writing
It was the first meeting of the Quiet Writing Community this semester, and it was so good to be writing in silent company again.
I usually have a better day than the day I had yesterday. However: I did relaxed at home and listened to music as I waited for a call. I'm on call to do evaluations. I had some shaved ice (sort of a snowcone)on a hot day, provided by work and at the end of the day, I had an evening walk with my wife and my dog. A good day. I will be sending you a postcard via postcrossing. I will not say from where but look for it. -Gman
