Life in late capitalism can be vexing, alienating, fragmenting, and otherwise frustrating. There are many wonderful things in my life, but I'm more likely to talk about what's bad rather than what's good. ...a former student's statement of purpose for graduate school and making suggestions. It's been quite some time since she graduated, so reading her narrative of herself was like re-meeting her and feeling anew how great a person she is.
