Life in late capitalism can be vexing, alienating, fragmenting, and otherwise frustrating. There are many wonderful things in my life, but I'm more likely to talk about what's bad rather than what's good. ...the colors on the fallen leaves, noticed during my morning walk. And we're in the "second spring" part of the season, which means that there's a mix of smells in the air: fresh blooms and autumn leaves.
