9/25: doctor appointments done

Yesterday and today I had to go visit some specialists my regular doctors had referred me to.  Not fun to try to shoe-horn medical appointments into the school-week, but I know it's easier for me than for lots of other working people.  I'm glad the appointments are over with no follow-ups in sight (knock on wood).

Oh, how I have missed reading your blog. I got a new job and moved to a new flat. And this post reminds me that I'll need to find a new dentist...
But there are so many good things. I am making good progress on the story I am writing. The past few days I have written at least one poem per day in either german, english or latin. Also I have composed a lot of music lately. And I am getting better at playing the bass and beatboxing every day.
And singing and singing lessons are fun as always.
Then I found a really good band on youtube and I absolutely love their music.
A friend of mine complimented me on my drawings (is this correct english? I feel like it wasn't...).
And then of course, finally finding the time to read your blog again.
These are a lot of good things, I hope you don't mind the long comment, but your blog just makes me see all these good things in life a little clearer.

Hello, Una--I LOVE that you posted all these good things (hurray for every one of them), and thanks as always for your kind words! I hope you are enjoying your new job and your new flat!

And, yes, "complimented me on my drawings" is completely idiomatic English :)
