I'm getting ready to leave my office for the night and I'm not taking any work home with me. Need I say more?
(I realized that I probably do need to say more: yes, I really am a grown adult who still uses a backpack.)
Life in late capitalism can be vexing, alienating, fragmenting, and otherwise frustrating. There are many wonderful things in my life, but I'm more likely to talk about what's bad rather than what's good. I'm going to try to post one good thing here each day, and if you would join in by adding a good thing from your day in the comments, I'd love it--I'd absolutely love it. --RR

Backpacks are a great invention! In the winter when I go walking straight from work to make the most of the daylight, I always carry a backpack of essential items that I don't want to leave in the car.
