A day for optimism. Even the daffodils felt so.
Life in late capitalism can be vexing, alienating, fragmenting, and otherwise frustrating. There are many wonderful things in my life, but I'm more likely to talk about what's bad rather than what's good. I'm going to try to post one good thing here each day, and if you would join in by adding a good thing from your day in the comments, I'd love it--I'd absolutely love it. --RR

Say WHAT??! Wow we got 5 inches of new snow and you get a daffodil, we live in such different worlds. :)
April
Hi, April--It's unusually early for daffodils even here. We just haven't had much of a winter, and the plants are beginning to think it's really spring. I'm worried that we'll get an ice storm and then everything will be stunted for the year--but for now I'll try to trust the growing things' internal clocks: maybe they know something I don't. Enjoy your snow!
