Once teaching begins, lake-time will be rare, so I'm indulging myself now. And I'm laying in visual provisions for the school year: today I got a big volume of Agnes Martin's work, and I'll look forward to paging through it when I'm more desk-and-chair-bound.

I can't even describe how beautiful I think the photos are. The lake must be even more beautiful and amazing when one is really there.
Thanks, Una. I feel so lucky when I'm on the lake; I also feel lucky to have a chance to share my experiences through photos. I think it might feel almost sad otherwise--to see it all and have no way to share it.
