The Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art installed a casting of Louise Bourgeois' "Maman" in its courtyard earlier this year. We finally had a chance to drive up to see it:
Life in late capitalism can be vexing, alienating, fragmenting, and otherwise frustrating. There are many wonderful things in my life, but I'm more likely to talk about what's bad rather than what's good. I'd like to visit yours, too, Dusty! I (unexpectedly) liked the effect of a spider's lair that Crystal Bridges one has due to its placement, but I'd also really like to see one that's less surrounded by other architecture....
