Later in the evening I texted my brother about them, and he suggested that I compare La Marche des Scythes to Yngwie Malmsteen's (metal) guitar music, a connection I never would have made.

Life in late capitalism can be vexing, alienating, fragmenting, and otherwise frustrating. There are many wonderful things in my life, but I'm more likely to talk about what's bad rather than what's good.
