Life in late capitalism can be vexing, alienating, fragmenting, and otherwise frustrating. There are many wonderful things in my life, but I'm more likely to talk about what's bad rather than what's good. Would you recommend "The Goldfinch"? I'm looking for good books to read.
Hi, Una--I do recommend it. I found myself not wanting to put it down; I kept reading late into the night several nights in a row until I finished it. I think it's a book with heart.
