Life in late capitalism can be vexing, alienating, fragmenting, and otherwise frustrating. There are many wonderful things in my life, but I'm more likely to talk about what's bad rather than what's good. ...talk about his philosophy of designing buildings in terms of emphatic solids and emphatic voids. I'm not sure that's how I think about architecture or want to think about architecture, but when I saw photos of his work I could clearly see how he puts his view into practice. And it was interesting to spend some time doodling and designing using his approach.
