I eat an apple pretty much every day. I've tried other fruits as regular fare, but they don't stick; for whatever reason, apples are a habit.
Yesterday my poem-a-day book had a beautiful poem by John Drinkwater about apples.
I bought apple cider at the grocery store--such a taste of autumn.
Apples were a theme in Rachel Hochhauser's Lady Tremaine, which I finished listening to today and have enjoyed.
I talked to a friend this evening who is planning on making apple crisp for her brunch guests tomorrow.
