I knew I wouldn't be able to take a walk this evening because I had a Zoom lecture on my calendar, so I went kayaking in the morning and enjoyed the light. I took a lot of photos! Here's one:

Life in late capitalism can be vexing, alienating, fragmenting, and otherwise frustrating. There are many wonderful things in my life, but I'm more likely to talk about what's bad rather than what's good.
