Life in late capitalism can be vexing, alienating, fragmenting, and otherwise frustrating. There are many wonderful things in my life, but I'm more likely to talk about what's bad rather than what's good. I'm going to try to post one good thing here each day, and if you would join in by adding a good thing from your day in the comments, I'd love it--I'd absolutely love it. --RR

We did not attend but the high school football team that my son is helping coach won the first round playoff game. My son is pretty happy. It's a good day.
I got an Android smartphone a few days ago, and the switchover from a very basic (almost rotary dial! LOL) cell phone to this had me a bit flustered, but I think I'm getting it now. Hopefully it will seem and be more friendly to me soon.
I can't believe it's time for football play-offs, but I guess the autumn is moving along. Congrats to your son & his team.
I got a smartphone last year, and I'm sure I still don't have the complete hang of it; it can do a lot more than I use it for, for sure!
