How beautiful, the colours, the structure - like a painting, only changing at every moment (at least the water did)!
By the way, I am quite at home in the internet, but have never visited blogs so far. But I am grateful to have come across yours "by chance", so we at least can become virtual neighbors! I really got caught up in your blog and have started to read it from the beginning in 2008 (I haven't got very far yet, but I am determined to read my way through) - it's a real gift that you let other people share your everyday life, your work, your reflections...

Hi, Ludger--I'll never be a painter, but on Sunday I truly felt like my camera let me take impressionistic photos of the light on the water. My mouth was hanging open (in excitement) as I was framing and snapping each picture.

And thanks for reading my blog! If you read a lot of the entries, you'll see patterns and perennial favorites: the sky, blue-birds, Chris, whatever I happen to be reading, photographs of flowers, bits and pieces of my teaching--I'm a creature of habit. I've not gone and re-read entries very often, but I think I might learn about myself if I looked back on past years' postings....

Yes, from the few blogs I had a chance to read so far (the entries of October 2008 - I'm looking forward to by and by go on reading) it became already evident that the entries are like a mosaique that form a wonderful image of your life and you! The good thing about this mosaique is also that it isn't finished yet but goes on to be created and changed. It is really enrichening my life to be allowed to participate in this creating (life) process!
