Life in late capitalism can be vexing, alienating, fragmenting, and otherwise frustrating. There are many wonderful things in my life, but I'm more likely to talk about what's bad rather than what's good. I'm going to try to post one good thing here each day, and if you would join in by adding a good thing from your day in the comments, I'd love it--I'd absolutely love it. --RR

Dear Rebecda.
oh, how well I remember - from the time when I was still actively teaching - the tendency to postpone a task to the last moment (whoch costs so much energy, because in your mind you carry out that task a hundred times) and how satisfying it is to have done such a task early and to have the whole week-end the nice feeling: "Oh, it's already done!" A real treat oneself!
Have a nice (unburdened) Sunday!
Ludger
Yes, Ludger, you understand exactly! I was able to truly relax and rest a bit this weekend not only because I didn't have to write the test but also because I didn't have to *think* about writing the test.
