And I received an email today from a friend who's been out of touch for about 10 months. It was such a surprise to hear from her once again.

Life in late capitalism can be vexing, alienating, fragmenting, and otherwise frustrating. There are many wonderful things in my life, but I'm more likely to talk about what's bad rather than what's good. started walking again today, have been out of commission since emergency surgery and a subsequent medical nightmare in sept..so good to get back at it

thanks rebbeca, it is a shock to go in for a simple little procedure and everything that could possibly go wrong did... there were many blessings along the way, so in the end i am greatful and focused on that
p.s. i love indian food, when i go to montreal to visit my daughters we always go to this amazing restaurant
