Life in late capitalism can be vexing, alienating, fragmenting, and otherwise frustrating. There are many wonderful things in my life, but I'm more likely to talk about what's bad rather than what's good. started de- Christmasing, decorations slowly coming down, reclaiming my post holiday home and adding little splashes of non holiday colors and it is lookin good
I know how that feels, Elaine! Every year when I was young we loved the Christmas decoration season, but there was also always a great fresh feeling--like a new big breath--when the decorations came down and the house started to return to its non-holiday self.
